Welcome to Nova G Studio! Where you can achieve perfect, natural looking brows, or remove unwanted permanent makeup and small tattoos! I am a Microblading/Permanent Makeup Artist based out of Martinez, California.
Contra Costa County is now allowing permanent makeup businesses to reopen and I am excited to see you again!
Whether you are tired of drawing in your brows each day, you have experienced hair loss or your brows are just looking a bit sparse, we can achieve a great shape and design that you can literally “wash and wear”!
Microblading is a permanent cosmetic procedure that uses a “blade” made up of tiny needles that help deposit ink into the skin. It does not go as deep as a traditional tattoo, which means in about a year a touch up will be needed since this technique is semi-permanent (and depends on your own skin retention properties).
Pain? Not really! More like a paper cut but we NUMB you so it barely bites, if at all! Most folks report a 1-3 on a pain scale of 10, 10 being the worst. And if we need to add more numbing, we add more, no problem!

We take the time either at the beginning of your appointment, or schedule a one-off consult, in order to discuss the process of microblading, what shape you are looking for, what we feel will fit your face type and so on! Feel free to ask as many questions as you like because we are making a set of custom brows just for you!
MAPPING
Measure, measure, measure, create!
During the mapping process we scientifically and artistically draw on a balanced set of brows that will custom fit your face. You want to follow you natural brow shape? No problem! You want to make you skinnier brows fuller and flufflier? We can do that. Then we work together to finalize you brow design before starting the microblading process.

MICROBLADING
When beautiful brows come to life!
We then start the microblading process of using a blade and pigment to create a set of natural, balanced brows. You are numbed before and during the procedure for comfort. When done, I review the aftercare instructions and you are good to go. But not before securing an after photo of your amazing results ;)

MICROBLADING
Natural hair-like strokes added to current brows, or to create brows, to enhance shape and face. Brows will last up to 1 year with a 6-8 week touch up. Ideal for dryer skin types.

OMBRÉ/POWDER BROWS
Makeup effect that once healed, brows look like makeup for a bold and defined look. Great for reshaping old permanent makeup, permanent makeup color correction, oily skin or folks who want a bold and "made up" look.
Ombré/Powder shading will last up to 2-3 years with a 6-8 week touch up. Ideal for oily skin, but can be done on all skin types.

MICROSHADING
A combination of nano or micro bladed hair strokes at the head of the brow blending into an ombré effect at the tail of the brow. Hair strokes are crisp and defined, and this service is ideal for oily skin, but can be done on all skin types. It can also be used to cover up previously faded permanent makeup. Microshading will last you up to 2-3 years with a 6-8 week touch up.

HYBRID BROWS
Microblading and Shading combined to create natural and defined brows that includes hair strokes and depth. Great for folks who have oily or mature skin. Brows that will last up to 1 year with a 6-8 week touch up.

PIXEL BROWS
Textured effect with strong retention. Create the effect of hairlike strokes with combined shading for a soft, natural look. Perfect for all skin types, especially those with oily or combination skin. Brows will last 1-2 years with a 6-8 week touch up.

BROW CORRECTION
If you have had previous microblading, ombré or a brow tattoo that is discolored, misshapen or blotchy this service is used to correct any issues with your current brows. Consult is required before booking this service. Please be aware a removal is sometimes required.

NANO BROWS
Hybrid brows using a machine. Hair-like strokes are placed using a fine needle and light shading is done throughout. Perfect for clients with oily or mature skin. Retention of shape and color is highly successful with this technique on all skin types. Brows that will last up to 2-3 years with a 6-8 week touch up.

LI-FT TATTOO REMOVAL
Saline procedure to lighten/remove unwanted permanent makeup or small traditional tattoos. Treatment is safe for brows, lips, eyeliner/eyes and small traditional tattoos. Can help where laser removal failed. A minimum of 8 weeks healing time between each session is required. Contact Kara for a consult and assessment.
Emergency LI-FT Removal - $300 (must be completed within the first 48 hours of a new permanent makeup or tattoo treatment. Anything beyond 48 hours will require regular sessions).
LI-FT Removal - $150 per session. 3 sessions can be purchased for $400.
